A Beautiful Resistance Screening
A Beautiful Resistance is a Boston Globe multimedia docuseries celebrating Black Joy and Black lives. Founded by culture columnist Jeneé Osterheldt, we invite you to a joyful celebration featuring cinema, community, conversation, and culture. We will show a short film, have a conversation, and be in reflection as we affirm our existence as a beautiful resistance.
A Beautiful Resistance welcomes Adrianne C. Smith, founder and visionary of the Can: Diversity Collective, a nonprofit created to give access and exposure to young adults of color and underrepresented communities to global thought leadership conferences, Ingrid Best, founder and wine négociant of IBest Wines and Dr. Makeeba McCreary, president of the New Commonwealth Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund.
